I have a chemise-like blouse that I need to take pictures of and post here. Otherwise I have been creatively unproductive. I'm taking a Creative Writing: Fiction class next semester, assuming I don't swap it for a Classics class for a trip to Greece. Of course, that would entail the trip getting up to 15 people from the 3 currently signed up.

This has been one hell of a semester. After the hyper stress of the first five weeks, things mellowed out slightly, but I've been on my toes the entire time. Practicum has a large part to do with this, as it eats up three hours of every Tuesday morning, and I end up exhausted at the end of each Tuesday. Then Wednesdays I leave the dorm at 9:50 AM and do not return until 4 PM, or if I am particularly studious, 9 PM. The two days I have before Thanksgiving Break with be similar. I picked up a medieval choir group in addition to the two choirs and voice lessons I was already taking, and this isn't for credit. Next semester my voice teacher also wants me to participate in formal student recitals outside of the midterm and final performances we have. I'm really excited, but at the same time glad that I dropped one of the choirs for next semester, as it gives me time to tack on an extra performance like this.

I've been seeing someone for almost a month now, and he is joining me for Thanksgiving, which means he will not only be meeting the parents, but also both sets of grandparents, my brother, my uncle, and the three family dogs (one at our house, the other two at my mom's parent's house). I'm hoping my new-found calm from giving a lesson in practicum will carry over to my introducing my first boyfriend to my family.

I did not even bother trying to attempt NaNoWriMo this year. I would have truly gone mad.
